Opportunities available at camp:

Shooting Ranges - Archery and BB Gun ranges available. An additonal rental fee is required, and groups must comply with Northwest Suburban Counil's standard operating procedures for shooting sports.
Geocaching—Explore Lakota and go searching for geocaches throughout camp! Twenty-four caches are currently hidden on the property. GPS units are available to borrow. Contact Tony for more information. Camp Lakota's Geocache Flyer
Activity Field—Large enough for most sports, the Activity Field is available for all to use.
Wilderness Trail—A winding trail throughout almost untouched portions of camp. Great for nature study, hiking trips, and primitive camping.
Fishing at Brookdale Conservation Area— This 1,200 acre conservation area includes a fishing pond. Poles are available at camp to borrow if needed. Groups larger than 16 require a free permit, and Illinois state fishing licenses are required. Map of Brookdale
Cross-Country Skiing—Multiple pairs of skis, youth- and adult-sized, are available for checkout.
