Camp Lakota invites you to explore the wilderness through scouting activities for the entire family. We offer a year round program for the youngest Tiger Scout to the Eagle bound Scout and beyond to the Venturing Crews Lakota has something to offer everyone.

Who: All scouts, Scouters, family member, and the public!
What: Come see what Lakota has to offer and celebrate our new Solar Panels!!!
- Solar activities: solar cooking, solar cars, solar prints & more!
There will be snacks available for purchase in the trading post.
At 4pm you are invited to stay for a campfire Eagle ceremony to view the highest achievement in Boy Scouts being awarded to an Eagle Scout and enjoy the fellowship of the campfire!

Lakota has been awarded a grant by the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation, and this past March the panels were installed.
We will be providing programs centered around sustainability and renewable energy utilizing these panels and the on-line software which you may access anytime at:
